MPTA conducts on average 3-4 light duty/heavy duty tow schools annually. These students receive the best education in the classroom while participating in hands-n demonstrations. Generally these schools are taught by a third party educator and the MPTA Board Directors. The towing and recovery industry need tow schools in order to teach all ages, non-experienced to very experienced towing and recovery operators. These tow schools give the proper training while promoting safety and professionalism in our industry, just as the generations before us.

The MPTA has always supported the young adults associated with our towing members through a scholarship program. These young adults pursue the opportunity to enhance their life skills through higher education. MPTA’s scholarship program assists and rewards the young adults in our Association for their hard work in the classroom, extracurricular activities, their outstanding accomplishments and other activities outside of school.
For more information about the MPTA Scholarship program, please contact the MPTA office. To download a PDF file of the MPTA scholarship application, please click mpta-scholarship-2017.
Six months out of the year, the MPTA publishes a newsletter called Newsbreak. Newsbreak gets MPTA members caught up to date with what is going on with current news within the MPTA and in the towing and recovery industry.
